The only thing you have to know is that at the beginning it’s just a launch title, so if you remember the first launch titles aren’t graphically particularly special – but I think next year you will have huge graphics and you will have the same quality you have on the 360 and PS3. GC: But how would you characterise it exactly? Is it more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, less powerful, or about the same? We have everything in HD, so we are in 30 fps in the game.
I think we have nice graphics, and you can compare this game with other games on the PS3 and 360 and on the PC actually. UM:The thing is a lot of people are talking about the graphics of the Wii U, and if they are the same as the 360 or PS3 but we’ve managed pretty well because as usual Nintendo is pretty good with their devkits – so we didn’t have any kind of problem. GC: I hesitate to ask this question, because the subject’s become so tiresome, but you seem to be in a good position to comment definitively on exactly how powerful the Wii U is. And so now ZombiU it’s been between about one year and two years. UM:I think we already started with Killer Freaks about a year ago and we changed a little bit the idea and the background of the game. GC: So how long have you been working on the gam for now? So that’s why they asked to have this kind of game, and we were pretty happy to help them because we have lots of gamers in the team. So it was something pretty different, because we know that Nintendo already made more mainstream video games, and now they want to really focus on core gamers with the Wii U. We worked together for the Wii and etc., and they wanted to have a mature game on the Wii U. UM:Yeah, because we have a good reputation with Nintendo. GC: So Nintendo actually came to you and asked for a mature-rated game? So it’s something pretty interesting and the team were very happy to work on this project, and we hope that it will be a great success. You will be able to craft your weapons, to develop your skills, etc. So we can give with this controller a kind of RPG elements. (Plus he said we were the best at the game that he’d seen that day, which is nice.) We’re pretty satisfied with our progress though and sit down to discuss the game with one of the developers from Ubisoft Montpellier, the same studio run by Michel Ancel and responsible for the Rayman and Raving Rabbids games.īut unfortunately we can’t make out the developer’s name on our recording of the interview, which we feel really bad about because he was very helpful and wasn’t even supposed to be doing interviews. We’re only eventually done in because although a rifle shot to the Spitter’s head manages to blow the top of it clear off he still keeps coming, and in a panic we stumble into one of the remaining guards. We manage to keep our distance though and carefully batter the zombies around us with a cricket bat, remembering to finish them off by holding the right shoulder button to crush their heads. Although it’s ranged attacks don’t injure you they do almost entirely obscure the screen, allowing zombified palace guards to creep up on you.
On PS4 and Xbox One, the file size will be around the 7GB mark, while on PC, it'll be around 11GB.Bucking Palace’s interior is oddly reminiscent of Resident Evil’s Spencer Mansion, and moving out to one of the lobbies we encounter a new type of zombie called the Spitter. The beta will begin at 3pm UK time / 1pm EST / 10am PST, and is expected to end by Monday night. The Star Wars Battlefront beta starts on October 8 and runs to October 13 (after an extension) on all platforms. When does it take place, and what is the file size of the beta? Because of this, don't be surprised by the occasional interruption to online play (likely just as you're about to headshot an unsuspecting Stormtrooper). EA and developer DICE are running the beta to test the game's online infrastructure.
But don't expect any progression to carry over into the full game.
